Where are you located?
FortéDance Essentials is located off Highway 31, in the Hoover Place Shopping Center. This shopping center has a Publix at the center and Forté can be found on the left side of the building, the last storefront. The physical address is 1960 Braddock Drive Suite 100, Hoover, Alabama 35226.
When is the store open?
Currently, the store is open Monday through Friday from 10 am until 6 pm. Saturday hours are expected to be added in the future. Hours are subject to change and the Google Business page will be updated with the most accurate hours.
Do you sell online?
No, Forté is a brick-and-mortar store and does not offer items for purchase online. Gift cards are available for purchase online with electronic delivery.
Do you carry dancewear for men and boys?
Yes, we carry a limited selection based on demand. Currently, we have dance belts, men’s tights, jazz shoes, ballet shoes, tap shoes, and a selection of unisex/mens tops and bottoms. If you find that we do not carry what you need, we are happy to work with you to place an order for quick delivery to the store.
What is the smallest sizes you have available?
Sizes vary by style and brand but we have youth clothing starting at size 2-4 and footed tights starting at XXS. Tap and ballet shoes are available in toddler, youth, and adult sizes from 5.5 T through 13 adult. It is highly recommended to bring your dancer to the store to try on all items before purchasing to ensure the most accurate fit.
What is your return and exchange policy?
If you have the purchase receipt, items can be exchanged or returned within 14 days of purchase as long as they are returned in purchase condition with all tags attached. Tights and other undergarment items (dance belts, bras, petals, etc..) may not be returned or exchanged.
All returns and exchanges are at the discretion of management.
Do you sell pointe shoes?
No, we do not fit or carry pointe shoes at this time. We are happy to make a recommendation for a vendor in the area to assist with this.
Do you offer discounts for dancer teachers or studio owners?
Yes. Please ask us about it when you come into the store.
Are you hiring?
